Tonight may be a restless night. We may get to see your picture tomorrow, or we may find out we have another month to wait. Either way we are ready for you to join your family. We have a room already set up for you – it is pink, has a nice bed, lots of clothes from friends, and the boys know it is yours.

I love you very much, Jenna already and I know your arrival will complete our family. However, I am a little scared, Jenna, because I know you have a lot of pain you are going to have to work through. Your mom and I pledge to you, Jenna, that no matter how you feel or who you become, we will always love you.

Mom did a good job summarizing our life up to this point. It has been a great adventure, and we are looking forward to more. It is 10:30 pm here, which means you are probably lying down for your afternoon nap. Sleep well – we will be dreaming of you.
